I had an idea for a prison in hell where the damned souls are herded towards an organic, fleshy gash in a vertical rock face, where they will be consumed and added to the great mass of flesh beneath the stony landscape.
I haven't really worked out the lore fully, but I thought it was sort of cool :P

Done in Photoshop with textures and hand-painting.

Hope you enjoy!
Cheers!

We found the gate to Hell

I found an ol sketch I hade made some months ago and thought I should make something with it. At first, it was just a generic glowing opening in a mountainside with an explorer on his way in. But the more I painted, the more I felt the coldness of it fit for something more evil. So I decided to make it a gate to hell. Long lost in a mountainous, cold and empty landscape. The unsuspecting explorers will most likely venture inside, and by some means, activate the gate and bring destruction upon the world... as all "unsuspecting explorers" are known to do...

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy it!

Still, he is a being of fire, but I experimented with the colors and wanted it to look more Magical in nature than pure fire. Anyways, hope you enjoy it =)

"My Orc And Me"

I love to paint "serious" and "Scary/moody" stuff. I never really go outside my own box, so to speak. So I thought about it and decided to juxtaposition a scary orc with a very happy little girl. The thought was that she got him as a Christmas present and she really loves her new Orc friend =) The Orc is ofcourse less enthusiastic about the Idea, but what can he do? She is just too happy =)

I used Oil Pastels in Painter for the entire image with some last minute touch-ups done in Photoshop. But I really wanted to "Paint" this one, and not rely to much on "Photoshop Tricks".

Anyways. This was a blast to make so I hope you all enjoy it!
The short story behind it is that a top classified research team is developing a mecha-Toad.. or something like that. =)

Anyways, just used PS CS3 and a couple of textures to get that rough feel.
It's my first real City-Scape piece. I hade to lower the compression-quality on this Jpeg to get it under 500kb, so it might be alitte blurry on some parts but I don't think it's fatal
I didn't put much thought into it and it probably shows. To late I realized that I hade messed up my Layers in photoshop so the end-result didn't look as good as it should have... or maybe I'm just being hard on myself...
